Welcome to Roars not Whispers

Established in 2006, Roars not Whispers is a youth-led programme that...

...builds the capacity of young people to represent themselves                          and others...

...supports young people to collectively take action on issues of         concern to them, and...

...raises young people’s voices on these issues further up the                                                                            public and political agenda in Scotland and beyond.

Following a very successful 3 years as a joint project between Oxfam Scotland and the Scottish Youth Parliament, Roars not Whispers has now secured charitable status in our own right.

This fantastic development is recognition for all the hard work that has gone in to the project over the years and the really great thing about it is that it gives us the independence to be able to work with a wider profile and develop new ideas for delivering all the brilliant things Roars does.
